New layout for VA05 T-Code

Hi All,

If you execute tcode VA05. the output is listed, I dont want all the fields to be displayed only some fields needs to be displayed. How can I do that. Also I want to save that layout for future use.

0 SAP (Header details) , 1 SAP (Item Details) and 3 SAP (Schedule Line details) are the display variants offered by SAP. Create your own display variant and save it as the default.

You can do that in the Output. use the Change Layout option and hide the columns which you don't want . and save the layout.

now next time when you are running the report , you can choose the one which you saved before.

select any column and right click on them then hide and save here you can save your own layout.

Hi VEnkat,

Diplay variant is found in the application toolbar of the VA05 transaction. You can choose your display variant from here.

You can save your layout like this Setting->layout->save,

if that option is not disabled.

Save option here is grayed out, I can't use it.

Aslo All of you guys said that I need to save the new display variant but Save option is not active. What it takes to make Save button active.

Maintain parameter 'SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN' in your user profile -- > Own Data.

U can create a screen Variant using Transaction SHDO or else u need to create a Transaction Varaint
