Refer to below SAP notes which has detailed knowledge about Data Matrix QR code, consult about this note with BASIS consultant.

2001392 - Support for Datamatrix ECC200 Barcode in SAPscript and Smart Forms

2029824 - Support for QR code and data matrix bar code (ABAP part)

2030263 - Support for QR Code 2005 Barcode in SAPscript and Smart Forms

I'm working on a few integrations as well related to the new GS1 QR Code standard of 2027, I found this GS1 QR code generator with api, it explains all step by step.
