Need to Access System Webcam from ABAP Code

Hello Experts,

We have a scenario where We have to access the Webcam of any Laptop/Desktop through ABAP Code (Module Pool).

The input (Image-Raw Format) will going to be Saved on SAP Customized Table.

After taking the snap & as well as saving it, we are going to Print that Image on our Smartform.

Question's are as follows:

1. How to achieve the first part i.e. Accessing System webcam from ABAP code. Once we achieve,

2. We need to take a snap and save it to Z table as a raw data.

Please share your view.

Probably you'll need to run an OS app to make the picture using cl_gui_frontend_services=>execute and then upload image to table.

Yes, but i have limited knowledge in OOPs, particularly didn't understand the part we created class. Can you explain it  elaborately?

I already used the  class and its going fine but after that  its giving a continious dump of msg type cndp 006 for the same  code plz  help me

Hi,

Please suggest your client to use third party software to capture images and store it at presentation server.

From presentation server you can easily store your image in Z table in a raw format.

And print that image in Adobe Form because in smartform its not possible.
