Naming conventions for dev. objects

Hello,

the standard naming conventions for dev. objects ist either Z or Y but it is also possible to define the own conventions. Depending on the company, it could be like this:

VW --> <b>/VW/</b>programA

BMW --> <b>/BMW/</b>classB

Siemens <b>/SIE/</b>functionC

and so on.

How and where can we define precisely that prefix for the development objects ?? Can somebody share with me documentation ??
