Multiple Transaction Calling in BDC

Hi Friends,

The Requirement is related to MI01,MI04,MI07 BDC is required for these transactions with in a single program is it possible through CALL-TRANSACTION mothod or we have to go for the SESSION method please suggest in that way to resolve the issue and send me the example code also.

Madan,

You will have to prepare the BDC information for each transaction separately and call the transactions separately.

However if you are creating a batch input session, you can have different transactions inserted into it. So you will do BDC_OPEN_GROUP for creating the session, and then do BDC_INSERT for inserting transaction MI01, another BDC_INSERT for MI04 and another BDC_INSERT for MI07 . Make sure that you refresh your BDCDATA internal table after each call.

no its not possible through call transactio method.for multiple transactions u should go for session method only.

Hi,

in ur bdc program u'll use BDC_OPEN_GROUP for opening session.

BDC_CLOSE_GROUP for closing the session.

in between these two u'll use the FM BDC_INSERT once.

for multiple transactions u've to call this method for multiple times.

for this FM u need to provide the TCODE and BDC DATA TABLE both are different for differnt transaction.

i think this info is enough for u.

Hi,

By call transaction you an call any number of transactions in one program .

If 1 internal table contains all the data in requisite format use it else have different internal table for different transactions to avoid confusion.

If you want to capture the messages of each transaction have different message handling internal tables and refresh it after every loop.

But if 1 transaction gives error then the transaction after that will not be executed.
