Hi,
Click on the first CELL of the column you want to move, NOT the heading & drag it to desired position.
this will work ..

Drag that column with mouse pointer and move to desired position.

That's very strange.
Don't you get a dragging cursor at all?

Hi Sai,
Both the ways are applicable.
1) You can keep the cursor on first cell of the column and u can drag and drop,
2) and also u can follow the steps which i explained. Both the ways will work.
The only difference is in point 2, you want to manually maintain the column no.
But in Point1, you just want to drag and drop.
Thanks,
Arun.

Hai Sai,
If you want to rearrange the TC columns then , you can arrange the column by selecting the fields one by one from the dictionary and droping it to the particular location in TC.

You can change order of fields in screen painter (drag and drop), but also during execution : Check that you allowed maintenance of variants in your table control (Attributes, Table Type, configurable, box) if checked you will be allowed to change order of fields, and can create a default variant. read some documents like

Hi, Sai,
In the above screen shot, i am going to make the Apr.Amt to second column.
Steps to follow :
Click the Table control in Layout in se51 tcode.
Now u can get a popup as below.
Here you can find previous and next arrow button at the bottom of the above image.
Click on that until you get your field which you want to change.
Once you got the field, then change the column level according to your requirement.
In the below image u can see the Apr.Amt field is now available in 2nd column.
Hope it helps.
Thanks,
Arun.
