how to get month in a field ?is there any function module to get month?

If u need current month , then

tables : T247.
data : v_mon(2).
v_mon = sy-datum+4(2).
select single ltx from T247 into T247-ltx wher mnr eq v_mon.
write : v_mon , T247-ltx.

data : idate like sy-datum value '20070323',

mon(2).

mon = idate+4(2).

write : / mon.

Hello ,

date is stored in system field sy-datum .

if you have a field like data mon(2) type c .

Use : mon = sy-datum+4(2)
