Is there any function module to get month end date...if give system date( sy-datum ) as input.

Thanks ferry...but i didnt find that FM in my system...(R/3 4.6C )...

instead i found a FM which served my purpose..

You can use the function module, or you can simply code something like this.

report zrich_0001.

data: datum type sy-datum.

datum = sy-datum.
datum+4(2) = datum+4(2) + 1.
datum+6(2) = '01'.

datum = datum - 1.

write:/ datum.
