Hi Rich,

I want to know about all of the monitoring techniques which we use when a project goes live like Job monitoring,spool monitoring etc. Just wanted a checklist and brief description on each.

Hi ,

There are various monitoring techniques like..

1. Dump analysis where you can monitor the dumps based on the date or the user

transaction for this is ST22.

2. Background Job monitoring where you can check the jobs cancelled through SM37.

3. IDOC Monitoring - WE02 to check out which all interfaces have got failed.

These are some of the monitoring techniques.
