Modify standard table

Hi,

We have a table- V_t71adm08 which decides the start and end date of the com planning.

We would like to maintain this table in production and change the values in this table using SM30. In production the client settings in SCC$ is "No changes allowed".

In order to acheive this i am going to make the Dialog data transport detail (using tcode SE54) as "No or user recording routine".

is this enough to acheive the goal of modifying the values in the table in productuion environment? Please advice.

(The delivery class of this table is -Customizing table, maintenance only by cust., not SAP import)
