Missing column values while downloading ALV data into Local file (Excel)

Hi,

I have developed an ALV report,While i am executing it is coming perfect,but while i have downloading that ALV data into local file one column values replaced with another column values..don't know why..Please help me.

Sample ALV data

Article    Article Description  MRP       HY01(Site)       HY02       HY03

100002    Soap                      10             0                   0              14

Data After downloading into local file

Article          Article Description      MRP      HY01(Site)      HY02     HY03

like this it is coming...means instead of MRP value replacing HY01 etc...

Hi,

did you have check your field catalog ?  maybe is a problem of column name

Hi Sai,

Unfortunately i cannot execute your report because you have custom tables. Also in your code i do not see any 'GUI_DOWNLOAD' FM so it means you are downloading excel via

Menu Bar : System - List - Save - Local File

or ALV Toolbar : Excel Icon.

For issue with first option i am not aware of any solution, probably some SAP notes might rescue you.

For the second option, solution can be a create a custom PF status which is copy of any of the standard PF statuses shown below -

preferably 'STANDARD' or 'STANDARD_FULLSCREEN' using transaction SE41 and use set the PF status in your program.

How you are downloading your data? I mean is it from Internal table the you will get exact data. And which FM or Methods you are using to download the data?

If you place your code that would be clear to give suggestion for you.

It usually happens because of incorrect field catalog. take for example in your case mentioned below you are passing plant but the REF_FIELD and REF_TABLE is of quantity. it should of MARC-WERKS or T001w-WERKS. Same type as data. Please correct this. Similarly check for others.

Hi,

   Instead of adding col position with +1 just specify the values as 1, 2, 3 and so on..and please check it..

Hi

Please check the special characheters in material description text

i couldn't recollect the exact special which creates the problem

if any material description has ',' or '-'  then while downloading into excel file

the remaining records will filled in a single cell

i also faced the same issue
