Mini SAP version recommendation

HI,

I have been in the ABAP environment (4.6D). For the next 12 to 18 months though, I will be out of ABAP and for that matter, out of SAP. However, I want to keep in touch with ABAP when time permits. To do that, I thought I should install Mini SAP. Please let me know

1) what version of Mini SAP you recommend? 2)If I'm correct, I guess mini SAP has new versions with Net Weaver etc. Will that support ABAP or should I go for something like version 6.2 ?

3) Is there a difference in cost between purchasing it (from SAP shop online) as an individual and purchasing it as a company (If I purchase it through my company which is an SAP customer)?

HI,

MiniWAS is the thing you need. It is the minisap from in our time, but it has an extension with the WAS (web application server) and all the netweaver features. For the moment they are at miniwas 6.2. You can buy it directly as CD or you can receive it if you buy certain books.

After fully Installation please let me know, because I am

unable to install MINI WAS 6.40 on my laptop. I have window XP home.

It is recommanded to Install on WINDOWSXP Professional as it is built on NT technology.. some of the server components are not possible to Install on WINDOWS XP Home...
