Hello All,
In enxtended syntax check I am getting a warning 'Message has no long text'.
How to avoid this warning?

The message is appearing because you have not selected the self-explanatory check box in the message that you are using in the program. Select the check box and save the message and the warning will disappear.
Alternatively you can maintain the message long text also. For that select the message in the message class and click on the Long Text button in the toolbar. Enter a long text for the message and activate.
Please mark points if the solution was useful.

Hi,
can you show the code-extract where you get the warning?

Your messages are defined in transaction SE91, each has a short text to summarise the problem, and the facility to add a long text to provide detail of the error and the action to resolve.
If you've created these messages yourself you can add a suitable long text, if you're reusing SAP delivered messages there's nothing you can do.

Nick
