ME51N - Customer Data Tab

We have added fields to the customer data tab of Tcode ME51N.  However, the tab height is not tall enough to view all the data without scrolling.

Certain tabs (the Service tab) when displayed for data entry enlarges to almost half the screen.  The other tabs, Customer tab included, when displayed for data entry, do not. 

Is there a way to increase the height of the customer tab screen at data input to allow all the data to be viewed?

Hi Sheri,

The custom tab which you had is the subscreen i think try to increase the size of the subscreen then there is a possibility of viewing all the fields at a time.

Let me know if any clarification/help required.

Hi Pavan,

Thank you for your response.  However, I have tried to increase the size of the subscreen in the attributes of the subscreen and it did not correct the issue.  I have also tried modifying the layout itself and again, did not correct the issue.

When viewing other tabs (Service tab for example), the header screens decreases in size as the tab screen increases.  It seems that this needs to happen as well for the customer data tab.  Not sure how to accomplish this.

     Lines / Columns - (a) Occupied

                                (b) Mainten

(a) Occupied      9 / 153

(b) Mainten.    25/153

I have tried modifying the Mainten. values with no success.

Hi

Are you using any 'box' (screen element) to keep all the screen fields inside this box ?

If yes, can you try to adjust the properties (Lenght (visible, defined) to 157 of the box .

Atul,

I have removed all box screen elements that I had originally used.  But I am still not able to modify the screen size.

If I cannot expand the height of the tab, then expanding the width would suffice.

The subscreen (customer) is displayed in one (or some) subscreen/tabbed area(s) which is(are) part of standard dynpro, you will not be able to display a subscreen wider than this area. To change this area you will require a sscr key as it is a standard object. Should not rise any problem, except during SP or upgrade project.

Its really strange that this post was initiated back in 2013 and still not resolved. Did you get a chance to raise OSS for the same.
