ME05 program RM06W003 background processing takes more time

Hi friends,

I am running ME05 (program: RM06W003) in the background to generate source list automatically based on the variants. But it takes too long to finish.

So, Anybody knows any optimizing process or performance steps to run this program RM06W003 in the background?

Hi,

Search for any SAP note to resolve this issue , incase if you didn't find any note , raise a message to SAP for solution.

Another solution , while shecduling it in bacground , take the trace with ST05 and runtimes with SE30 , observe them you will know where the problem is.

Answer is pure assumption

Pls check the OSS note

Note 338998 - ME05 Generate Source List; endless runtime

Pls take opinion from SAP / Basis before implementing the OSS note

With this note, I could come to an conclusion about the cause of issue.

the origin of the cause was, the Job executed during peak period of the server. now it is corrected.
