Hi

MDM is master data management.Consolidate master data for companywide analysis and reporting. SAP NetWeaver Master Data Management consolidates and cleanses master data objects from disparate systems. After consolidation, it stores information from different systems in a centralized repository. Related rich content can be included to augment the data store.

<b>In simple words</b>

This needed for syn+ remove discrepancy plus to have a centralised master data database.

It comprises of four tools.First we take master from different master data server

secondly refine them and create different repository for storing the same.

Thirdly we just make it ready to be distributed ,also generate a unique key and we can add some mdm workflow also.

Finally we send them back to the other servers with the key which is being generated by mdm servers.
