MCHB batch stocks table

How is MCHB different from MCHA? From what I know MCHB is only for batches that have stock in it. And MCHA is for all batches that were ever created. But when querring MCHB I can see many entries for batches that have 0.00 stock value. So am I little confused.

Hi Megan

MCHB is storage location specific, on material can be available in many storage location....with same batch.. so you will find more entries in MCHB than MCHA with same material, plant and batch...

MCHA is batch information at plant level and MCHB is bacth information at Storage Location level.
