Maximum Field label length

Is there a limit to how long a field lable (Field length, but name of the field) could be on the SAP screens? Is it 30? Is it something we can configure to set the limit? If yes, how long we could?

For short, medium and long label fields the maximum length must be assigned for each field label.

It is the upper limit for the lengths of all translations of the given text.

Same applies to Headers.
