Material mster data uploading using Bapi

Hi

I am uploading the material master data using lsmw-bapi. It showing the status records 51-Application document not posted. The message was 'Key fields for use data SALESDATA and checkbox structure SALESDATAX are' .

Please help me

when you are in LSMW step 16 Create IDoc Overview

double click the IDOC in red

in IDOC display, drill down to the message below status 51

double click the icon in fron of the message and you will get a pop-up with long text.

there are hyperlinks in the pop-up.

copy the number into memory, then click the hyperlink "proceed" to display the apllication log.

enter the application log number and execute (this is transaction MM90, you can run it without number, but it takes much longer

Now you should be able to see the full messages and reasons for the failure.

hi,

before using in LSMW, try to execute that in using BAPI 'BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA', whatever fields u have used in SALESDATA that u have to make it as 'X' in SALESDATAX.

Hi,

This error comes when you have entered the field values in SALESDATA structure and the corresponding checkboxes are not checked in the SALESDATAX structure and vice versa.

Please check you input.

It would solve the problem definitely.
