Material Ending balance

Hi ,

I am trying to create a report for material ending balance for a given period . Not able to figure out the right tables . I know , MBEW gives the current balance but not the previous ones . Some please give me some hints .or any standard function module.

SAP provides some history files ending in H. I did this a long time ago, but I don't remember precisely what I did... I may have used MBEWH.

Did you mean stock balance ?

Check table S039

Thank you for the quick reply . I see all the goods movements in the table S031 . But again I have a problem . I need to pull data in my report , based on the movement type . Please help .
