Hi,
I came across WM Material, Stock Material and consumable materials. What do they mean by and how can they be distinguished. Is it by material type ? If so I checked in mara table for material types and i did not see any of this kind. Can some one throw light on this which field and so on...
Thanks in advance.

I don't think there is any single field that gives you this information. These are usually business terms, not any attribute of the material.
WM material is Warehouse Managed material, which means it has certain attributes that are defined in the material master at a warehouse level(MLGN table), Stock material is that material for which you keep stock of, a physical material not a service material. Cosumable materials probably are those materials that are consumed in the production while making a finished product.
Usually you can derive these, based on their material type and material group, but they are very specific to your company.
