Material classification details needed

Hello,

I need to get the material number with the help of a characteristic name and value maintained in the material master...How can i achieve this...?Can any one help me with the table level details...

I saw those table my question is how i can trace the material number associated with the characteristic value...?

for eg iam maintaining a material identification number(12345) in characteristic values using a class in the classification data of material master...I need to know the SAP material number for which this 12345 is maintained...

can you pls help..
