Material Classification Data

I have a custom segment for classification data of a material in the idoc type ZMATMAS05. By activating change pointers for the message type ZMATMAS we can trigger an idoc for any MM data change.

An Idoc is to be triggered if there's any change in Classifcation data. Is there any field in MM02 that can be activated as a change pointer field?

Hi,

Please go to transaction BD50 to activate change pointers for a message type.

Then go to transaction BD52 to add the corresponding field (if does not exits yet).

yes i did activate change pointers for MATMAS, i want to know what are the fields that have to be activated for change pointers wrt classification data

Hi,

Have you looked/tried message type CLFMAS instead of MATMAS?

Also please try with object = CLASSIFY and Table = ABAUSP or ABKSSK in transaction BD52.

I think you have to activate change pointers for classification separately. Please see note 65124.
