Maintenance Work Order- Components Tab

Dear Experts

Please help if there is any way we can use ABAP to put a Maintenance Order back "Created" status only if a change in Components Tab is made. A screen of Maintenance Work Order is attached for the reference.

Transaction Code is IW33 (display maintenance order)

The requirement is that when any change is made in the "Req. Qty" of the Components or any other Component is added the System Status of the order should be set back to "release" ( the sample order shared above is not yet released). Is this possible through ABAP?

Contradiction in status you mentioned at two places. Back to 'REL'  or Back to 'CRTD' ?

Hello Sir,

What I actually mean is to set the status back to "Created" so that the order can be "released" again.

Rubab

Setting a REL Order back to CRTD is not possible in any case.

As mentioned by Mr. Jogeshwara, it is not possible to revert back CRTD status automtaically by changing the components tab information.

Please elaborate your business requirement. If requirement is to add additional approval for verification of components, it can be done by implementing user statuses. For example, before execution of release function, a user status can be set to verify all components first.

Hi

No Shoaib,

The business requirement is bit different than what you have pointed out. I think I will not be able to explain it on this platform in detail as well.
