Maintenance View with single screen only

Hi all,

I want to make a customizing for basic settings of our application. That means that I dont want to use the maintenance view overview screen but only its single screen since the customizing table behind this screen will always contain only one record. There is no possibility to generate only the single screen without the overview. There is a possibility of writting a report for this kind of input but there has to be also saving into transport implemented and I am trying to avoid this. So my question is - is there any possibility of generating or modifying a maintenance view so that it will maintain only one record through single(detail) screen?

Hello Martin,

Could you make your question more clear?

Do you mean that you want to create table maintenance but you do not want the overview screen to come, but just the maintenance screen to come?

Hi,

if you dont want overview screen, just make TMG with single screen.

in TMG, Maintainence Screens tab,

Maintainence type is One step

Main. Screen No. is Single screen = XXX.

dont maintain value for Over view screen.

Hi Martin,

do I understand correctly that the only key field is the client? If yes: define your maintenance dialog as two step. The system will jump to the single screen automatically. At least that is how it works for me.
