Hi All,
When I'm creating the database view with single table as per the definition of Database view it should give all four maintenance status (Read only, Read, change, delete, insert, Read and change, Read and change (time-dependent views)), but it is giving only two maintenance status (Read only,Read and change). What can be the reason behind this.
Thanks & Regards,
Shailesh S. Malkar.

Hi Shailesh,
Please read help....
View is just representation of data.
Inserts are permitted in database view but.. there are some conditions.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/be/96df78260f11d2955a00a0c929b3c3/content.htm
The changes are permitted only in Maintenance View.

Hi Shailesh,
I agree.. though the insert option is not there for table with 2 screen maintenance I am getting option to delete insert record for data base view.
I am also not sure why this is happening. Probably you can ask SAP with OSS .
Regards
