i am creating maintanence view and when i am executing this view it is giving message that 'no database view exsists' .what might be the reason for not displaying data?

Hi,
Are u doin maintainence view for ur Ztable???????
If so, only when u enter new records, it wil display.
Otherwise, the very first time wen u maintain the table in SM30, it'll display blank fields only.

hi,
aftere creating view have u genereted table maintance dialog from SE54.
if not then just do this and then check.

Hello , If u are directly trying to create MV w/o databse table exicsting for that table..
you will get that message ...as maintenance views are reflection of the database tables..
Please inform what is the exact reqmnt..

goto se54 then select genereted object radio button then create ... give the screen no. and other details ..

Hi Naga,
You need to <b>create TABLE MAINTENANCE GENERATOR</b> for that table from....
SE11-> Table name-> Change...
from menu.. UTILITIES -> Table Maintenance GENERATOR...CREATE.
Or else you can use T Code <b>SE54</b> too for the same thing.
Now you will be able to Uopdate the table from SM30 using Table name with Maintainance view that you have created.
