Mail triggering For Error IDOC's

Hi Friends,

Actually In our requirement, when error occurred for either inbound and outbound Idocs a mail has to trigger.Please can any one suggest how to trigger the mail. for that what configuration is required..

Hi Muralidhar,

First, you need prepare a workflow task, which is used to send email.

Second, go to WE47, find out which error status is you wanted to send email. And see it`s detail. in detail view, there is a process code.

Third, go to WE46, then change process code`s  'Identification' to that new task.

Last, go to WE20, outbound or inbound parameter, maintain 'Agent' tab to users.

Can you guide how to do workflow task. I am using the Custom Idoc.

You can refer Configure workflow notifications for IDocs in error status But it triggers the report in SAP workspace ,, Perhaps you can do the same for email
