mail send option using SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.

Hi ABAPers ,

i used SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 for email functionality with excel doc attachment its working fine now i want to color the excel sheet header (only the heading) what should i do for that.

What you are looking is to color some cells in excel, the email functionalty has nothing to do with excel coloring.

search the forum with excel color and you will see some threads on how to color some celss in excel. I never tried those so cant say if thsoe would help you or not.

You have to search for some Class & Methods ( Objects ) functionality with excel.

Hi Roshan,

I am trying to use FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' to generate an email with excel attachment. However this FM is not allowing us to write more 255 characters per record. However our requirement is to include more than 255 characters/record. Do you know any way of overcoming this problem?

Any inputs will be of great help.
