How to upload the data for standard LSMW.

i complted 12 steps am strucking in 13 step.

pl guide me..

am using standard lsmw for mm01.

Pl guide with 13 step for data uploading.

i tried but the data is not uploading it throwing error like session material_mas: the special character for a blank field is >/<

hi,

use material or mm01 instead of material_mas as your session name.

If your stucking at run batch input session then

execute the step, go to the screen select your session and click execute or f8

IF u r geeting that follwong error then check in the field mapping check u r TCOE is passed to the stricture and session name correctly mapped.

Can you please give u r message clearly.

Hi,

Check the converted data and see whetr the fields are mapped correctly or not . You may be not mapping any field which is mandatory in any screen .

Try doing one record manually .

Tell me if you are still not getting it.

In 13 th step , i activated tht prgm radio button n continued ..

then the selection screen of tht program is opened so here i need to know wht type of i/p should give to upload my flat file data . Please guide me ...

you can use a text file to upload . Check the specify file step( how you have mentioned the flat file properties ) and fill data in text file accordingly .

If BDC recording method 13th step creates Session. Goto SM35 process session.

Hi Manoj ,

Please clarify ur problem . Its vague . In sm35 , try to run ur session in foreground . This can be done only if your session is successfully created .

Hi Manoj,

Please check the error tht is displayed aft running the pgm . I suppose you may hve not mapped mandatory field in some screen . Can you check manually one record in mm01 ??

If the field is empty, perhaps check your source field assigned to Target field. sometime you need to explicity do the 'MOVE' becuase it can be not be empty because most time system default is empty for C field.
