Hi,

I am migrating Accounts data using direct input method of LSMW, but in last step 'Start Direct Input Program' it is asking for input and output files, what i should enter for that??

hi

In the assign file step SAP will give a name to ur input file.

Give that name in input file column,

In the ouptput file column,

Give any file name(text file on your desktop) , so that if there are any errorsduring run time , those errors will be downloaded into that file.

tried that option also but it is giving error 'File Accounts data could not be opened. Message:

File could not be opened '

Hi,

While specifying files(Specify files step) u need to specify correct file.

For example tabulataor....file type text file and code page as ASCII etc.

Please check it.

And in last step u need to start file name with '/'.

Hi

May be that file does not exist in the path which you have mentioned in the step Assign files. Just create that file and give that name in the Assign files option.
