Hello,

Iam posting the initial inventory load of materials and I want to put up a break at like 300 records and create a seperate material document for each 300 materials. The flat file consists of 1000's of records. Iam using BAPI of message type MBGMCR and method CREATEFROMDATA. Please Help.

I don't know about LSMW, but sounds like it would be easier to write an abap program for the conversion. read your data into an itab structrue and created a second itab with the same structure. Loop through the itab until sy-tabix = 300 and move all data to the second itab. Then load data from the second itab and refresh it after you are done. Create your seperate material doc. Then continue looping through the Main itab the next 300 recs.

Hi Vicky,

There is a standard program supplied by SAP to perform Good Movement for Inventory Upload using LSMW

LSMW Technique:

Standard Batch/Direct Input

Object = 0110

Method = 0000

Program Name = RM07MMBL

Program Type = B

Hope this solved your problem. If this did not solve your problem, write back again with your input layout. Why do you want to divide your input file at 300 Records?

As far as I know, you can post a maximum of 999/2 number of items per material document.
