hi all

i have question regarding the LSMW. suppose we have uploaded material master data using LSMW.later on if i want to add some more fields and upload the data how could i do that?

do i need to start over again or is there any other way i can do it?

how editing the recording is useful? can anyone explain me in detail?

Hi Sandeep,

One way is to record the mm02 transaction and add the additional fields to the existing materials by doing an LSMW gaina, or delete all the materials and do the lsmw all over again for mm01.

u can add the fields to the existing views. but if i want to add MRP1,MRP2 etc to the existing material and upload it how can i do it?

also i am not permitted to delete the materials which have been uploaded (and i think deleting the material is not a solution in order to add one single view...!)

Hai Sandeep

It is very simple

you just add the fields in you input file and modify&Save it.

go to Tcode LSMW

execute your existing Project

do the following steps

3) select radio-Button 3 and execute

Maintain Source Fields

select the source structure and click on create button

give

New field

field name New filed

Field Label New filed Description

Field Length 18

Field Type C

do this process according to your no of new fields

save & come back

and execute all the remaining steps from 4th to 13th

that will solve your problem
