LSMW using IDOC

Hi Gurus,

I am getting an Internal error for the Start IDoc Processing step. The error is 'Field not exist in table'.

I am using Standard IDOC for Characteristics.

All the other steps executed successfully.

Any idea regarding this issue.?..plz help.

Hi,

The error message explains that their is an issue with the mapping, i think u have mapped the field which does not exist in the table.

Check teh fields in the table available and go ahead with the steps given below :

Hi,

Have you done with the mapping correctly for all the requested fields of your source structure?

Kindly do a re-check on the same and let us know whether you have any issue

I have a total of 13 fields. I mapped 10 fields with the standard IDOC.The rest 3 fields are not there in the standard IDOC. I deleted the three fields from the flat file. But still i am not able to process the IDOC. It is showing the same error.

what is the status of the idoc? what is the error msg that is displaying in the status record?

Application Document not posted..

Status error is 51: Internal Error. (Field not found in table).

can you reprocess this idoc in the foreground mode to see where this error is occuring?

Found the error!!!!!!!!..

The source structure defined by me had field names different from that of the table fields......Thus the idoc had a field name mismatch and resulted in errors....Thankz for all who helped me....
