LSMW question

Hi,

I want to trasnfer LSMW project form one client to another in development system. First, I went to the sender client, chose export project and saved the file on my desktop.

Now, I wen to the receiver client, chose import project and selected the above file on my desktop and pressed enter. I still don't see the imported LSMW project in my receiver client. Do I need to do anything else?

Hi Krishen,

There are two methods for these.

1)Extras>Export Projects>(Give the Project name)

In next screen(Choose what subproject, routines, etc.. you wan to copy then, Export Rules-->Export((Will prompt for file name)

A text file will be downloaded.

In the Target System

Goto LSMW Extras-->Import Projects and give the text file done.

2)Extras-->Generate Change Request

Assign a change request can then transport.

Hi Krishan,

If you want to copy it to anothter client you can do it by Copying Change request by TCode SCC1.
