LSMW problem

Hi,

I am uploading the records into a table.

in "specify Files" step i am getting foloowing error

File Name 'Converted Data:' Max. 45 characters. Remaining data saved.

please tell me the solution,.

double click the 'Converted Data and READ DATA in chnage mode and decrease the length of the file

you can give any name it will accept that is less than 45 chars...

When I am changing the length of the Converted data it is not giving the length problem.

Hi

Keep Short Name for your Converted / Read File. Double the same to adjust the length in Change Mode.

Please make u r Project/Subproject/Object of LSMW shorter and try again , U r problem will be resolved.

Hi,

I think you are using the Batch input session method in LSMW.

for the batch method you need to specify the logical path and

physical path of the file for your converted data thats why this error

comes.

to resolve this you should have the authority to create the file

in the transaction FILE.

You can directly create it from lsmw itself

just give the file name and by double clicking on the logica file path

it will ask you to create the file on server or go to tcode FILE and create on

file with logical path and physical file path and specify it in LSMW file section.

It will surely work.
