Dear Experts,

I am trying to upload the characteristics of configurable material at PR item Level in Transaction ME51N. For this I have my own BAPI.For one record, it is working fine but if i give multiple characteristics, I get errors from IDOC:

EDI: Syntax error in IDoc (too many repetitions of a group)

Message no. E0073

Please suggest.

When defining the IDOC type, did you allow multiple segments for the characteristic segment type (meaning, did you put a number higher than 1 for the field "Maximum number" ?

Thanks for the reply.

Actually I tried to change the number but it was not editable at all so ,Opted another approach.

The BAPI was having structures as Importing parameters . So, I made the structures as Tables in the Tables Tab.

NOw, its working fine.
