I beleive you have the task of uploading BOM long texts.You are using Standard batch/Direct Input as your transfer methood.
1.
Object :- 0030 Material BOM
Methood :- 0004 With Long text
Program Name :- RCSBI040
Program type :- B(Batch Input)
2.How many source structures are you using ?I recon you need to have 4 structures 2 header and hdrtxt and Line and Line txt.
3.Maintain Source fields :-Header,Line,Hdrtxt.Linetxt should have id field in common.The txt field should be in txt strs ex:- TXHDPARAGRAPH
TXHDLINE
4.Maintain Structure relations(4 needs to be maintained )
5.Maintain the mapping and Conversion Rules (give the transaction code apply if and endif loop in your code for your struc.)
6.Remaining steps i hope you have rightly followed.
7.When you create thge Batch input session in which you are getting error you need to have the following checklist :-
Processing Mode :- BDC session
(ii) File format :- Text Format File
(iii) File acess(source) :- Presentation (if PC) and Application(if ftp )
(iv) File Acess:- Save incorrect data records (change the file name extn to say err.)
(v) Check out the deletion indicator.
8.Run the batch input session in batches say for 10000 records run in batches of 2000 or less else dump error may throw.
