LSMW (Batch Input) problem with Subscreens

Hi, I'm new on SAP.

I have a problem with this transaction, after I do the recording in LSMW or any method of Batch Input, some fields don't appear on the structure, I think after serching a lot, that it's because those fields are in a subscreen and the recording don't catch them.

I tried to edit the recording, exporting the .TXT file and then import it again, but it doesn't work neither.

Someone knows how to solve this?...

What transaction did you record? What fields do you miss?

Hi Joselin,

It does not matter whatever tcode you use. But before going for recording, just execute the tcode SHDB. Here you can go through your desired tcode and find out the required fields based on the input. Once your recording is done, you can find out the fields which are recorded. It would be much helpful for working on recording related tasks like Recording in LSMW, BDC etc.

Note : Fields on the screen might differ based on the input. So if you dont find the field which you expect, you can try recording as much you want until you get correct fields and inputs.

Hope it helps.

With Regards,

Kani.

Hi, well I do the recording using SHDB as well. But my problem is that those fields are in a ALV and to use then I have to click in a create button of the ALV.! and the recording don't catch the button click.

Ouch, I'm guessing it's the same or similar issue as with Enjoy transactions - BDC won't work with them (google 'BDC for ALV'). However, there should be some workaround, e.g. an alternative transaction code or a program.

If searching SCN doesn't help, you might want to send a message to SAP.
