Hi,
I realise i am going against the double-posting rule in forums but it is quite likely that either an HR person, or an ABAPPER, may be able to answer the question and hence i am putting this in both the HR and ABAP forums. Sorry.
When loading Thai text we are getting these character displays, as below, on my PC. Strangely, on someone else's PC these characters display correctly? Please advise where I should change my settings to display these characters correctly. I have checked my SU3 settings against the person whose display is correct and they are identical so it cannot be anything to do with my Defaults or Parameters linked to my userid.
If i cut and paste these characters into MS-word then they appear correct!
Thank you in advance for your help.

Currpt Characters are almost always due to encoding issues. Check the following settings in your frontend and make sure that you encoding is correctly selected.
Let me know if it solves youre problem.

Hi All,
Thank you for all the replies and help. Greatly appreciated.
The error was in Options -> Multilingual settings -> Encoding -> There is an option there to 'Auto-detect Latin1 characters' and this has worked
