Long Text for Parameter at selection screen.

Hi All,

Pls let me know how to give the long text for Parameter at Selection Screen. As per the standard, we can give upto 30char lenght as a text for a Parameter. But my requirement is to give upto 50char lenght text for a Parameter.

Pls help to suggest me to fulfill the requirement and let me know if more information is needed to help me out.

There should a data element CHAR120, why don't you use that to refer the parameter to.

PARAMETERS : P_TEXT TYPE CHAR120.

If you looking for 50 char lenght, and you don't find a standard data element, you can create a data element of length 50 and use that.

Hi,

Use SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT..

SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF LINE.

SELECTION-SCREEN COMMENT 2(60) TEXT-001.

PARAMETERS: P_MATNR LIKE MARA-MATNR.

SELECTION-SCREEN END OF LINE.

In the text element you can give more than 30 characters..
