In my 4.7 system, logical database F1S, the statement:

INCLUDE DBF1SF01

.

has been commented out without any indication of why. When I display the include, I have one but it is empty.

You can copy the LDB and comment out this include and give it a try.

I used to teach how to create your own LDB. It is a non-trivial feature and it is no longer included in the training curriculum because LDBs are rarely used anymore.

Are there some features of an LDB that you want to use? If so, maybe we can offer some alternatives.

Hello Zeeshan,

Firstly, I would like to know whay you would want to create your own logical database. I do not want to sound discouraging, but in all my experience, I have never created a logical database. In fact, there were very few occassions where I have even used an existing logical database.

If you are new to SAP and want to learn some new stuff, then I would say that there are far too many interesting and useful things to learn, than logical databases.

If your interest for Logical Databases is still unabated, then I would refer you to the following link in the documentation - http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/9f/db9b5e35c111d1829f0000e829fbfe/content.htm

Hello Zeeshan,

Seems to me like you're offended. I'm sorry about that. Maybe some other experts in this forum would be able to help you create your own logical database.

Regards,

Anand Mandalika.

P.S. : By the way, you don't have to regret having awarded the points. You can always unassign them.
