Loading material consumption history

Hello,

I have a requirement to load material consumption history and am not sure what the best approach is. We tried loading it with MVER_MAINTAIN_DARK but it kept timing out due to the large volume of records. We also need to load material consumption at plant level but for some we need to load at MRP level. If any one can assist it would be greatly appreciated.
