When I am trying to load material basic data text. HOW CAN I
WRITE MORE THAN 1 LINE IN THE TEXT BOX? Up to now, the system is
overwriting my text. I am trying all these symbols in the field TEXT FORMAT
and it doesn't work: , /, /.
This is the text file:
MATERIAL000000000000000052GRUNEN*WE
MATERIAL000000000000000052GRUNEN/ARE
MATERIAL000000000000000052GRUNEN/DOING
MATERIAL000000000000000052GRUNEN/A
MATERIAL000000000000000052GRUNEN/TEST
OBJECT = MATERIAL
NAME = 000000000000000052 (ARTICLE)
ID = GRUN (BASIC DATA)
TD = * or / ACCORDING TO FUNCTION READ_TEXT
TDLINE = TEXT
RESULT = "TEST"
JUST ONE LINE!!!!
it overwrites the entry from before. and only the last will be visible. I
remember you had taken care of this in LSMW step 5 Maintain field mapping
and conversion rules. Thanks a lot for all the help.

this happens if you create per line a new header record, but you have to have just one header record with several lines.
I have an introduction for text loads in the web:

hi
while recording through LSMW click on the editor and enter the text one by one line....
then save the text...

Seems like you're missing a "transfer_record" in your mapping rules.
Are you using LSMW standard object "0001", or "0020", or something else?

for this use below LSMW BAPI mthod
Business Object BUS1001006 Standard material
Method SAVEDATA Create and change materia
Message Type MATMAS_BAPI Create and change materia
Basic Type MATMAS_BAPI02 Create and Change Materia
and use this strcture E1BP_MAKT Material Descriptions
