Hi Vijay,
FM VRM_SET_VALUES is the one i used.But when we use this, how to read the value that is there in line of the table control?

hi,
what ever value you select that will be stored in the table control field, you can check it also.
NAME = 'IT_TC-MATNR'.
CALL FUNCTION 'VRM_SET_VALUES'
EXPORTING
ID = NAME
VALUES = LIST1.
after you select the data from drop down,
the value will be stored in it_tc-matnr.

Hi Vijay..
I had done the same as u have suggested.But here the issue is with the value..i aggre that 'IT_TC-MATNR' will have only one value at a time.But how the control will know where the cursor is on?
When i switch on the debugger & go with teh list box,its taking me no where which means that the control is not reading the cursor postion.I hope u understood.
Plz suggest..
Thanks & regards...

Hi Kiran
In your POV you should try to get the line of table control where the user press F4:
GET CURSOR LINE V_LINE.

In your screen flow logic, use the <b>PROCESS ON VALUE_REQUEST</b>, use <b>FIELD and MODULE</b> statement. Inside Module, figure out the values you want to show, put them in an internal table and use function module <b>F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST</b> to show and accept them.

Hi kiran,
if you are unable to use the vrm_set_values
you can switch from table control to Grid control
and you can use drop down in grid control.
check this example BCALV_EDIT_06.

U can easily have listbox in table control.
For that go to element list->Text IO templates in tat select the column of the table control and select drop down option as listbox.
