Limit for custom table

Hi friends,

Is there any limit for a z table for number of records. Is there any option that we can keep the maximum limit.

Hi Line,

In the technical settings of the table there is a field called <b>Size Category</b> which dtermines the probable sapace required by the table in the database , please check it and based on your requirement you can set it , but i dont feel there will be any issues regarding the size of the table in the database , as the datbase system will automatically assgn it sapce/memory when every required.

when u give size category in technical settings...at that time u can give the last option for memory....this last option gets changed according to ur data base server memory....so it gets the maximum available space for the z table,

Hi,

The Oracle / AS 400 server will raise a warning message to the administrator when the size of the DB is about to overflow. They don’t have to change the SAP table technical setting… Instead they will adjust the Oracle / AS 400 server….
