language problem in selection text

Hi,

I want to change the content of a selection text in a report.

The report is copied from an SAP standard report of which the original language is DE, but the login language is EN.

It seems no effect if I just changed the content of the selection text and the statement %_XXXXX_%_APP_%-TEXT = 'XXXXX' doesn't work either.

The only way to see the effect for me now is to login in DE and change it, but that's not what I need.

Hi Ming,

     Did you try the menu path GoTo->Selection Texts->Translation? There you'll get option for translating to a different language.

hi ming,

since you have copied the report ,you can change the selection screen text by going to

goto->text element->

do the necessary changes...

hope it solves....

Hi Ming,

Follow the path  SE38 > Display>Goto>Translation>Fill in the desired language> and then you will be able to put the desired text and BAM!!! your purpose solved
