Know about how Data transfer from Development Server to Production server

Like to know how data transfer from development server into production server.

Explain with example.

i have never heard of data getting transfer from devel to production????

You can change the prgrams nd then send your request to prodcution so tht changes can be refelcted..

Can you please explain me the scenario also how you are doing that?

For what I know, it is not possible to transfer transactional data from dev to prd system, you are only able to do it with customizing and workbench data.

Hi Sandeep,

As per my knowledge it will be done in reverse i.e from production to development. This will be done by BASIS team

periodically to maintain good test data in development and test systems.

The only way u can transfer data from development to production is to create a TR and include table contents in that TR(Object type Type TABU, Transaction SE09). But this will be done in rare cases like if u have some fixed values in any table, instead of entering the data into table manually in production by the user, Developer will enter the data in development and transfer it to production.
