item text missing on MB03

Hello Experts,

I found a weird thing while doing "GR for PO" in transaction MB01. I filled in some explonatory text in the "Item Text" field and posted the document.

When I displayed the posted Material Document, I could find the "Item text" field at all on transaction MB03.

Could you please tell me what could have happened?

Any help is appreciated.

Sam - check to see if someone activated user_exit EXIT_SAPMM07M_001 via SE37. IF so, make sure they're passing back MSEG-SGTXT.

I did check for that user exit.

And they did activate that.
