IT support role

Hi Team,

We have a created a only one IT support role in Production system for all the Modules  only display access or Is it good to create display role to the respective modules .

Please suggest me what would be drawbacks if we create only one IT support display role for all the modules.

Hi Rajendra

Role is copied from SAP_ALL template role and removed changed access and  assigned Display access.Please let me know if they are any disadvantages in this case

Hi Raj kumar,

It was not good practice to assign one IT Support role (that too creating from SAP_ALL) to support users in PRODUCTION system which potentially provide wider access than they required. In production system you can probably use this display role assigning to FF IDs if you have appropriate FF ID control process.

Dear

In production server we are not allowed to create roles are push roles through stms which is created by SAP_ALL templete bcaz there are many object in SAP_ALL we also don't know the impact of that

sometimes it will create mess in PRD system only transport roles into PRD only after proper testing of tcode and authorizations..
